#FASHIONWEEK: Durban Fashion Fair #DFF2017 Starts From The Bottom To The Top

Durban Fashion Fair (DFF) 2017 is in its sixth year of showcasing some of the best talent under the eThekwini Municipality and South Africa. As probably thee platform most proactive in not nurturing the industry, but also the next generation of talent, DFF2017 has done it again with the implementation of two of their youth-building programmes.

First up was the search for the next crème-de-la-creme of model talent in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Representatives from DFF and the eThekwini Municipality went around Durban scouting new talent. Once discovered, the talent was shortlisted and final group has been going through a variety of programmes put together by DFF and eThekwini Municipality through its Fashion Development Programme.

As if that was enough, DFF continued on their journey of developing young talent from the province. DFF’s mentee programme identified 5 young make-up artistry candidates to participate in a 5-Day master class. These 5 will form part of the Make-Up Partner for DFF, Kryolan’s team, who will be working their magic on all the models during this year’s DFF showcase.
